Application & Enquiry
The process begins when an organisation submits a certification application. We collect details such as company size, industry, and scope, then provide a customised certification proposal.
Application Review & Agreement
Our team reviews the application to confirm eligibility and scope. A formal certification agreement is signed to ensure impartiality and mutual understanding.
Audit Planning
We assign a qualified audit team with the right industry expertise. An audit plan is shared in advance, outlining objectives, scope, dates, and methodology.
Stage 1 Audit — Document Review
The Stage 1 audit evaluates your organisation's documentation, policies, and readiness for the full assessment. Any gaps are identified for corrective action.
Stage 2 Audit — Full Assessment
Our auditors conduct a detailed on-site or remote assessment of your operations, verifying compliance with the chosen ISO standard(s) and checking for effectiveness.
Certification Decision
The audit report is reviewed by an independent certification committee. If compliance is demonstrated, Certigence issues an accredited ISO certificate.
Certificate Issuance
The official ISO certificate is awarded, valid for 3 years. Your organisation is listed in our certification directory for verification.
Surveillance Audits
Annual surveillance audits ensure that compliance is maintained. This helps businesses continuously improve and retain certification.
Recertification
At the end of the 3-year cycle, a recertification audit is conducted. Successful recertification ensures uninterrupted global recognition.
